JP Youth Soccer does not run any soccer camps, does not run winter or summer programs, and does not offer programs for players younger than 1st Grade. However, there are others in the Boston community that do.
This list is provided as a resource for JPYS families and others looking for such programs in the Boston area. It is updated periodically, but may not be current. This list should not be taken as an endorsement of any of these programs by JPYS. JP Youth Soccer is not directly involved with these soccer organizations, and makes no claim as to their quality.
Programs in JP:
If your child is in K2 or younger, JP Children's Soccer (JPCS) conducts a popular, recreational soccer program in Jamaica Plain for children ages 3.5-6.5 years old. Many JPYS players, families, and coaches started with JPCS.
Programs Based in Other Boston Neighborhoods:
Boston Scores (administering East Boston FC and other programs)
Hill House Soccer (Downtown neighborhoods)
Parkway Soccer (West Roxbury)
Soccer Unity Project (administering South End Soccer, Mattapan Youth Soccer, and 28FC, which is affiliated with Boston Boys & Girls Club)
Soccer without Borders (East Boston focusing on children of immigrant and refugee families)
Camps can be a great way to learn more, improve your skills, and stay active in soccer over the summer and school breaks. JPYS makes no claim to the quality or suitability of these camps for any given player, but these are camps that are close to JP or that have been popular with JPYS players.
Club soccer is generally for players who are interested in advancing their soccer skills in a more competitive environment, and the programs may incur a significant financial cost to families. Many are tryout-based, and are not obliged to accept everyone who applies.
JPYS makes no claim to the quality or suitability of these club programs for any given player, but the following clubs have programs near JP, and tend to be popular with JPYS players who play club soccer:
Boston Bolts FC has teams throughout Massachusetts, including Boston-area teams
Boston FC has teams in several Boston neighborhoods
Hammer FC is based in West Roxbury
Intercontinental Football Academy (IFA) New England has teams throughout Massachusetts, including Greater Boston
New England Surf FC has a number of programs in and around Greater Boston, including in the city
Valeo FC is based in Newton, but runs a Boston-based program
JPYS does not offer winter or futsal programs. However, there are some opportunities in the Boston area:
Massachusetts Futsal Association is a competitive winter futsal league for town and club teams based at the Park School in Brookline, with games around greater Boston. JPYS is not affiliated with this program, but many JP coaches and players participate in this league.
