COVID-19 Guidelines
In accordance with the guidelines for respiratory illness set by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), JP Youth Soccer has implemented the following respiratory illness safety guidelines:
When you may have a respiratory virus (e.g., cold, cough, flu, COVID-19), stay home from practices and games if you have any of the following symptoms that cannot be explained by another cause:
Fever
Chills
Fatigue
Cough
Runny or stuffy nose
Sneezing
Sore throat
Headache
Chest discomfort
Decrease in appetite
Diarrhea
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Vomiting
Weakness
Wheezing
You can return to practice when your symptoms are getting better overall and you have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication) for at least 24 hours.
If you never had symptoms but tested positive for a respiratory virus, you may be contagious. You do not have to stay home from practice or games, but please be mindful of the potential for spread of disease and take appropriate precautions (e.g., social distancing), even when outdoors.
