The Academy provides young soccer players in Grades 1 - 2 the opportunity to develop their skills while having fun under the guidance of professional and volunteer soccer coaches. The Academy promotes technical skill development and enjoyment of the game.
The U10 travel program provides a continuation of the Academy developmental experience for players in Grades 3 and 4, with games on the weekend with our in-house league. U10 travel introduces children to the soccer game format, including goalkeepers and referees. All games are local to Boston. All U10 travel players practice together two nights a week. Families who do not wish to participate in the travel part of the program are encouraged to select the "practice only" option during registration.
JPYS fields travel team for players from school grades 4 to 12. Players are assigned to teams according to gender, age, and ability and play games against other towns in the Boston Area Youth Soccer (BAYS) league. For questions about the Travel Program, contact the Girls Travel Director or Boys Travel Director.
To ensure all children get the best experience from playing in our programs, we require that all soccer players, regardless of age, adhere to the JPYS Code of Conduct.
