Jamaica Plain Youth Soccer is a non-profit, community soccer program for youth players in Boston, Massachusetts, with the mission to provide a safe and positive environment in which to develop passionate and skilled soccer players. We offer Fall and Spring programs in our Grade 1 & 2 Academy, our Grade 3 & 4 program in the Boston Soccer League (BSL), and Grade 5-12 travel teams in the Boston Area Youth Soccer League (BAYS).

Most of our players live in JP, Roslindale, and Roxbury, but many come from other neighborhoods including Hyde Park, Dorchester, Allston-Brighton, West Roxbury, and Mattapan.

Fall Season 2026 Registration
Fall 2026 registration is open!
Our programs are below:
JPYS Academy (Grades 1-2) - OPEN
The Academy season runs from early-September to mid-November, with practices on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and games on early Sunday afternoons, all at English High School. This program has an enrollment cap. Once the program fills, new players will be sent to the wait list. We encourage interested players to register because we routinely move players off of the wait list as we get closer to the season.
Grade 3-4 Program - OPEN
JPYS is reorganizing our 3rd and 4th grade soccer program. Starting this Fall, we will be discontinuing our Campeones program and moving toward a 3rd and 4th grade travel soccer program that will provide the opportunity for players to play on a regular JPYS travel team. Like our 5th-12th grade program, our 3rd and 4th grade travel teams will compete with other teams outside of JPYS. However, our 3rd and 4th grade teams will compete with other teams in a special travel program that is local to Boston (Boston Soccer League (BSL) which is administered by our normal BAYS travel league). Despite these changes, JPYS will still maintain our commitment to player and volunteer coach development. Like our grades 5th-12th travel program, games for 3rd and 4th grade travel soccer will be on Saturday mornings for girls teams and Saturday afternoons for boys teams (BAYS and the BSL do not offer co-ed team options). Families who wish to participate in 3rd and 4th grade soccer but prefer not to compete in games on Saturday should choose "practice only" during registration. These players will have regular practice 2x/week but will not participate in games on Saturday and do not need to purchase a travel uniform. The deadline for registration is June 30, 2026. Players who register after that date are not guaranteed a slot on a travel team. The season runs from early September through mid-November. Practice schedules are still being determined.
Grade 5-8 Travel Teams - OPEN
The deadline for registration is June 30, 2026. Players who register after that date are not guaranteed a slot on a travel team. The travel season runs from early September through mid-November, with weekday practices set by each team, and games on Saturdays.
Grade 9-12 Travel Teams (7v7 only) - OPEN
The deadline for registration is August 30, 2026. Players who register after that date are not guaranteed a slot on a travel team. The season for grades 9-12 will run from late-September through mid-November, with weekday practices set by each team and games on Sunday afternoons.
