Jamaica Plain Youth Soccer Welcome Message
    Welcome to the Jamaica Plain Youth Soccer website. JPYS provides a safe and sportsmanlike atmosphere for the youth of Jamaica Plain, Roslindale and surrounding Boston neighborhoods to have fun while learning and participating in the game of soccer. The success of JPYS depends upon the collective efforts and cooperation of ALL participants.

JPYS Programs include
  • JP Academy which provides younger players (1st through 4th grades) the opportunity to develop their skills while having fun under the guidance of professional soccer coaches. Players 3.5 to 6.5 years old should checkout JP Children's Soccer. For questions about the JP Academy contact the
  • Travel Program for players from 9 years to 18 years old. Players are assigned to teams according to gender, age, and ability and play games against other towns. For questions about the Girls Travel program, contact and for questions about the Boys Travel Program, contact
  • THERE IS ROOM ON THE BOYS U9 TRAVEL TEAM.  THE OTHER BOYS TEAMS ARE CURRENTLY FULL.  New players will be considered as practice players.
  • THERE IS ROOM ON THE GIRLS U18 AND U12 TRAVEL TEAMS.  THE OTHER GIRLS TEAMS ARE CURRENTLY FULL.  New players will be considered as practice players or put on a waiting list.

Date of birth between August 1, 1998 and August 31, 2000

Mandatory PLACEMENTS for All Girls.  Girls should attend AT LEAST ONE of the sessions in their age group:

            Thursday, May 31st           6:00 p.m.       English High School
            Monday, June 4th              6:00 p.m.       English High School
 
Both existing JPYS players and new players should come prepared to play
                             
U-12 and U-11 Age Divisions

Date of birth between September 1, 2000 and August 31, 2002

 Mandatory PLACEMENTS for All Girls.  Girls should attend AT LEAST ONE of the sessions in their age group:

            Wednesday, May 30th       6:00 p.m.       Pagel Field – Hyde Park Ave.
            Thursday, June 7th           6:00 p.m.       Pagel Field – Hyde Park Ave.

JPYS Academy Spring Season

The Jamaica Plain Soccer Academy is the recreational soccer division of Jamaica Plain Youth Soccer. It strives to develop passionate and skilled soccer players by offering an inclusive, fun- first program focused on soccer education for boys and girls, ages 7-10 (first through 4th grades). The Academy was established to advocate the enjoyment of soccer and the patient development of fundamental skills.

The JPYS U8 and U10 Academy season begins the week of Monday, April 2 and ending with a last game on Sunday, November 13. The practice sessions will be at English High School Field from 6:00 to 7:00. The U8 program (grades 1 and 2) will practice on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The U10 program (grades 3 and 4) will practice on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Academy games will be at Pagel Field on Hyde Park Avenue on Sunday afternoons beginning Aprli 15. The U8 Academy program will play games between 12:30 and 2:30. The U10 Academy program will play games between 2:45 and 3:45.
